Job Title: Quality EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet all drawing, specification, and regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in reviewing inspection reports, performing contract reviews, and ensuring the quality of outgoing shipments.
Responsibilities
+ Review inspection reports to ensure conformance to all drawing, specification, and regulatory requirements.
+ Perform accurate contract reviews of all customer purchase orders and resolve discrepancies with engineering.
+ Review outgoing shipments for document completeness and product quality, resolving any roadblocks.
+ Perform dimensional and visual inspection of parts using appropriate measurement devices to ensure quality standards are met.
+ Create Balloon Drawings for customer shipments and build inspection reports for accuracy and completeness.
+ Create and process FAIR Data packages for timely submission and approval.
+ Identify and label quality defects, generating nonconformance reports for products not meeting requirements.
+ Perform part marking, plate inspections, and other supporting tasks to ensure timely completion of quality department tasks.
+ Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, utilizing best practices to select appropriate measuring equipment and methods.
+ Use GOM ATOS III Triple Scan, GOM CORE, and TRITOP systems for optical inspections.
+ Maintain and generate internal/external calibration of gages.
+ Perform tasks with appropriate measures of speed and accuracy.
+ Adhere to all company rules, policies, and procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a STEM focus.
+ 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
+ Experience with New Product Launch and creating FAIR Data Packages.
+ Experience with Manual Inspection and Custom Prototype environments.
+ Proficiency in quality management systems such as AS9100.
+ Experience with First Article Inspection and NADCAP.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience at companies like Pratt & Whitney, GE Aerospace, or Aerojet is a plus.

The role requires adherence to industry codes and standards, with a focus on precision and accuracy in inspection tasks. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
