The Quality & EHS Manager is responsible for leading and evolving quality assurance, environmental health & safety, and compliance programs. This position ensures that products meet the highest standards throughout design, development, production, and delivery. The manager will oversee a growing team, manage compliance frameworks, and collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and Project Management to ensure traceability, audit readiness, and performance across the entire product lifecycle. This is a senior management role with significant strategic impact and growth potential.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain and improve compliance with AS9100D and other industry, customer, and regulatory standards.
+ Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS), including audits, non-conformance processes, and supplier quality.
+ Manage all inspection stages (incoming, in-process, final) and lead First Article Inspections (FAI) and customer source inspections.
+ Track quality metrics, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
+ Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and contract-driven quality deliverables.
+ Lead configuration management and document control, ensuring product baseline integrity and audit readiness.
+ Own site-level EHS compliance, develop risk mitigation strategies, and foster a safety-conscious culture.
+ Build and lead the supplier quality function, manage supplier performance, and act as a key customer interface for quality-related matters.
+ Lead and develop the quality team, set performance objectives, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Essential Skills
+ Mastery of AS9100 to maintain compliance, lead audits, and drive continuous improvement in aerospace and defense processes.
+ Ability to conduct supplier audits, manage non-conformances, and drive corrective actions to ensure all supplied materials and components meet stringent quality and regulatory requirements.
+ Expertise in configuration management and document control to maintain product integrity, traceability, and audit readiness.
+ EHS management and OSHA certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification.
+ Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt).
+ IPC-A-610 knowledge (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies).
+ Professional certifications: CQE / CRE / CQM.
+ Familiarity with Software Quality Assurance.
+ Knowledge of Reliability Engineering principles.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $76.92 - $88.94/hr.
