    Job Title: DevOps Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining production environments while collaborating with project leads, team members, and aligning with Security and IT for policy assurance. You will be responsible for automating software deployments across various environments using modern technologies.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and support automation pipelines, configurations for containers, data management, and release/deployment solutions.

    + Automate software deployments using virtual machines, container technologies, Kubernetes, cloud environments, and bare metal servers.

    + Support engagements related to assessing, refactoring, and identifying opportunities for existing applications to leverage modern application architectures.

    + Participate in Agile sprints and associated activities.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in AWS, Kubernetes, Cloud, Containers, and DevOps tools.

    + Experience in coding and scripting languages such as Java, Python, Terraform, and Bash.

    + Knowledge of tools like Jira, SharePoint, Git, Redis, and MySQL.

    + Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance.

    + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other technical field.

    + 2+ years of hands-on experience with architecting solutions in AWS Cloud environments.

    + Experience with key AWS services like EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, CloudWatch, and S3.

    + Proficiency in Linux system administration.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other technical field.

    + Experience with on-premises to cloud migrations or IT transformations.

    + Experience in database administration with MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL.

    + Experience in AWS ElastiCache.

    + Familiarity with Information Security frameworks/standards (CIS, NIST, RFC2196).

    + AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.

    + Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Tucson, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $103000.00/yr.
