    Skills:

    - Associate's or bachelor's degree or 2+ years of experience in the distribution field

     

    - Experience in design software, mapping systems, or GIS

    Job Description

    Conduct field assessments and site visits to gather data for pole replacement initiatives

     

    Design and draft pole replacement layouts in accordance with engineering standards and safety regulations

     

    Develop comprehensive design packages, including construction drawings, material specifications, and supporting documentation

     

    Support line extension and territory development projects, gaining hands-on experience in broader distribution design practices

     

    Collaborate with SR designers and field crews to address design-related inquiries and assist with construction activities

     

    Ensure all deliverables meet company quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements

     

    Maintain accurate project records and update internal systems with relevant data

     

    Build foundational knowledge of electric distribution systems, design software, and industry best practices

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    - Previous experience within pole replacement layouts

     

    - Electrical Engineering Degree

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Duluth, GA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/hr.
