Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to ensure the safe and quality production of various sized glass tubes used in the medical and scientific fields. You will work with precision instruments such as micrometers, gauges, calipers, and microscopes to guarantee the quality of each glass component. Additionally, responsibilities include inspecting, bagging, tagging, packing finalized materials, and inventory control.
Responsibilities
+ Produce and modify glass tubes for the medical/scientific field with a focus on safety and quality.
+ Utilize micrometers, gauges, calipers, and microscopes to ensure glass component quality.
+ Inspect, bag, tag, and pack finalized materials.
+ Control inventory and maintain accurate records.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ year of experience operating a machine.
+ 1+ year of quality inspection experience.
+ Ability to read product specification drawings.
+ Basic math skills for counting and measuring.
+ Ability to learn and cross-train quickly.
+ Ability to sit and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1+ years of experience using micrometers, gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools.
+ Experience with cycle counting, inventory, or ERP systems.
+ Final inspection experience.
+ Handling small microscopic materials.
+ Experience in wool packing and screen printing.

Work Environment
This position is for the 1st Shift, from 6am to 2:30pm, in a 'lab coat' cleanroom environment. The small team of approximately 6 people focuses on detail and production tasks, with high accountability and support from leadership. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PFLUGERVILLE, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
