Description

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Mason, Ohio, within the manufacturing industry. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering an opportunity to showcase your data entry skills and contribute to a fast-paced environment. The role requires precision and efficiency, as you will play a key part in processing invoices and supporting vendor-related activities.

Responsibilities:

• Input a high volume of invoices into the system with exceptional accuracy and speed.

• Collaborate with team members to process 2,000 invoices weekly, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion.

• Prepare invoice batches and respond to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Handle general vendor communication and support without being assigned to specific vendors.

• Provide assistance with accounts payable processes, with the potential to expand into applying payments in the future.

• Utilize Oracle systems and other tools to manage invoice data effectively.

• Maintain organizational standards and ensure compliance with company guidelines.

Requirements • Proven experience in data entry with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

• Familiarity with accounts payable processes and systems, including Oracle, is preferred.

• Strong numeric data entry skills and ability to handle large volumes of information.

• Effective communication skills to address vendor and internal inquiries.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Detail-oriented with the capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Prior exposure to manufacturing or similar industries is a plus but not required.
