    Job Title: Machine Operator

    Job Description

    We are currently seeking dedicated machine operators to join our dynamic team. This role offers extensive training, regular check-ins with your production manager, and opportunities to collaborate with the engineering team to ensure your success.

    Responsibilities

    + Work from work orders and learn processes for each individual customer, ensuring KPIs are met.

    + Use micrometers and calipers to ensure the product meets quality standards.

    + Perform minor preventive maintenance on machinery, including oiling machines.

    + Utilize a computer to track raw material usage.

    + Inspect pieces for defective materials and unusual conditions.

    Essential Skills

    + Frequent mobility and ability to lift up to 50lbs comfortably.

    + Strong knowledge of mathematics, including decimals, fractions, and measurements.

    + Comfortable operating multiple machines simultaneously.

    + Experience in manufacturing or a mechanically inclined position.

    + Proficient with computers, machine operation, inspection, and troubleshooting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Candidates must have a stable work history.

    + Open-minded approach to learning new skills.

    + Willingness to be trained on our machinery.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Turners Falls, MA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.58 - $21.58/hr.
