    Job Details

    The Clinical Educator supports the Radiology Department by coordinating staff education, performance improvement initiatives, and compliance activities. This role works closely with departmental leadership and Quality Management to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant radiologic practices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Coordinate and track performance improvement and quality initiatives.

    + Manage credentialing for non-radiologists performing fluoroscopic procedures in Radiology, Cardiology, and the OR.

    + Monitor and report fluoroscopic radiation usage.

    + Coordinate Radioactive Materials License amendment applications.

    + Analyze patient satisfaction surveys and summarize results.

    + Assist with maintaining and updating departmental policies and procedures.

    + Actively participate on the Radiation Safety and Joint Commission Focus Committees.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare or radiology preferred.

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital radiology preferred.

    + Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

    + Computer proficiency with accurate record-keeping and typing (30 wpm / 5,000 keystrokes per hour).

    + Familiarity with performance improvement and regulatory standards.

     

    Salary Range

     

    USD $69.62 - USD $77.54 /Hr.

     

    This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
