    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a qualified and innovative **Staff Engineer Systems Modeling Simulation – Integration** to join the Model Based Test & Evaluation (MBTE) team where we are advancing cutting-edge technology. We are seeking a creative and driven Staff Engineer to tackle complex challenges and deliver impactful solutions. This position will be located in **Melbourne, Florida.**

     

    **_Note:_** _This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options._

    Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

    + Lead and manage a team to develop processes and techniques using engineering best practices and standards.

    + Collaborate across multiple groups, including Program Management, external suppliers, and government customers.

    + Prepare and coordinate technical review boards, ensuring stakeholder engagement and approval.

    + Take ownership of multiple processes and apply technical expertise to solve complex problems.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 12 years of relevant experience; OR Master of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 10 years of relevant experience; OR PhD in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 8 years of relevant experience.

    + Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government **Secret** clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.

    + Proficient in rapid iteration, even with limited information.

    + Solid technical proficiency with integrating across multiple IPTs.

    + Familiarity with Cameo background knowledge.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with MATLAB, Python, and Microsoft Office.

    + Familiarity with Atlassian tools and Agile software development

    + Cameo proficient

    + Active Top-Secret clearance

    Primary Level Salary Range: $147,700.00 - $221,500.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
