As an Engineering Technician, you-ll play a vital role in driving innovation and efficiency in our manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position focused on safety, process improvement, and automation - perfect for someone who loves solving problems and bringing ideas to life.

     

    What You-ll Do

    As part of our engineering and operations team, you-ll:

    + Support Plant Operations: Implement and maintain automation systems and new equipment to enhance efficiency.

    + Lead Changeovers: Quickly program and configure automation systems during product transitions.

    + Drive Innovation: Design, build, and optimize robotic End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) and automated work cells.

    + Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and robotic issues to keep production running smoothly.

    + Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Quality, Safety, and Plant Management teams to introduce new technologies and process improvements.

    Your Impact

    + Make Safety a Priority: Lead safety projects, engage in safety committees, and ensure compliance with all plant safety standards.

    + Continuously Improve: Develop and implement initiatives to reduce cycle times, improve efficiency, and streamline automation.

    + Advance Technology: Stay current on the latest plastics and robotics innovations to help our operations stay ahead of the curve.

    What You Bring

    + Associate-s degree in a technical field or Bachelor-s degree in Engineering (preferred)

    + Hands-on experience with automation, robotics, and industrial machinery

    + Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

    + Ability to read prints and design or build electrical enclosures

    + PLC and robot programming experience (preferred)

    + Proficiency with MS Office and excellent communication skills

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
