Account Executive Role:
As a member of the company’s Sales team, the Account Executive I will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new Enterprise prospects within the small to mid-size markets, up-selling solutions to existing clients, and effectively close sales.
You will conduct tours and presentations of your local datacenter which will be supported by local sales and operations leadership. The majority of your focus will be on uncovering accounts within your datacenter’s local region.
Duties:
+ Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets
+ Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
+ Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking
+ Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
+ Consult with prospect about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each.
+ Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
+ Manage existing customer accounts for renewal and expansion business.
+ Prepare presentations and tours with prospective customers
+ Prepare quotes and proposals for new business through web leads
+ Negotiate business and legal terms with potential customers and prospects according to Company guidelines
+ Review and ensure the accuracy of lease/license documents prior to delivery to potential customers or prospects
+ Report activities and opportunities to the Company on a regular basis
+ Oversee transition of finalized transactions to Sales Support
+ Wisely utilize Company resources to help close transactions
+ Awareness of supply and demand trends in the applicable regional market/vertical
+ Awareness of the competitive landscape, market pricing and strategy
+ Gain an understanding of the data center, real estate and telecommunications industries
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
+ Must be smart with a demonstrated consultative capability
+ Must display the highest integrity at all times
+ Honest, direct communication, internal and external
+ Long term transformational behavior—not transaction oriented
+ Competitive personality
+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
+ Willingness to outwork the competition
+ CRM discipline a must
+ Critical listener with effective questioning
+ Self-starter that does not need constant supervision to be effective
Education/Experience:
+ Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
+ 2 - 5 years of Outside Sales Experience
+ Performance at or above Quota and Top 20% of Peer Group
+ Experience in real estate brokerage and technology preferred
+ Must possess a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and insurance

Compensation:
Compensation for this role includes a base salary between $75,000 - $85,000 annually.
