Job Description
The **Manager, Administrative Applications,** oversees a group of analysts responsible for the implementation and maintenance of systems for the following campus groups: Facilities, BCPD/Public Safety, Auxiliary Services, Athletics, and Student Affairs. Additionally, the team supports the university’s Enterprise Document Management system. The position will report to the Associate Technology Director, Administrative Applications and be part of multiple technical teams chartered to deliver complex applications in support of the University's business needs.
Specific responsibilities include:
+ Provide leadership to team members on maintenance of systems and management of projects.
+ Provide guidance to business area staff in departments on technical solutions to business needs.
+ Determines project plans, priorities, budget items and resource requirements.
+ Maintain a balance of potential solutions aligned with ITS architectural strategies and end user requirements.
+ Collaborate with appropriate University departments on vendor contracts, security reviews, software licensing, audits and compliance.
+ Collaborate with various units within ITS to ensure all applications meet ITS technical standards and priorities.
+ Work closely with various units within ITS to support delivery of efficient and high-quality integrations (connecting data, applications and third parties) that support business processes and customer needs.
+ Identify potential opportunities from an operational perspective, and initiate solutions to optimize these opportunities.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $134,150 to $167,700; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
* This is not a fully remote position (hybrid flexibility at the discretion of management).
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
+ Minimum of five years of experience managing and mentoring staff, including their professional development.
+ Advanced degree or additional training in relevant technologies preferred.
+ Experience in support of vendor systems and custom applications.
+ Experience working in a software development lifecycle.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical cross-functional initiatives and manage change.

+ Proven competencies to work in a team environment that aspires to customer service excellence.
+ Knowledge of IT service management best practices, including change management and incident response in production environments.
+ Demonstrated verbal and written skills.
+ May be required to work additional hours to meet project/unit deadlines and timeframes.
+ Must be available to address critical system issues during off hours.
