Job Description Summary:
This position supports educational sessions using sophisticated medical simulation technologies including, but not limited to: human patient simulation, microvascular procedural simulation, laparoscopic simulation, surgical simulation, minimally invasive catheterization simulation, clinical skills simulation and distance learning. The sessions are designed to meet the educational/simulation needs of graduate medical education, continuing medical education, nursing education, allied health professionals and pre-hospital professionals.
Responsibilities And Duties:

This position supports educational sessions using sophisticated medical simulation technologies including, but not limited to: human patient simulation, microvascular procedural simulation, laparoscopic simulation, surgical simulation, minimally invasive catheterization simulation, clinical skills simulation and distance learning. The sessions are designed to meet the educational/simulation needs of graduate medical education, continuing medical education, nursing education, allied health professionals and pre-hospital professionals.

: Collaborates with Site Managers and faculty on simulation scenario development and simulation session content. Assists in incorporation of patient simulation into the curriculum of a wide variety of medical disciplines i.e., , cardiology, pharmacology, nursing, etc.
30%
Ensures lab, simulation models, and computer technology are maintained at quality levels for educational sessions. Performs routine and special maintenance of medical simulation technology, medical treatment equipment and other duties as assigned.

Assists staff at each center with daily activities of center. This involves set up and tear down of rooms and equipment

Helps to maintain stock and replenishment of consumable supplies that support lab activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School or GED (Required)EMT - Emergency Medical Technician - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, EMTP - EMTP - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
Additional Job Description:
Clinical training as an EMT or EMT-P, or related profession or Experience . Knowledge of medical education; Knowledge in human anatomy and physiology, critical care procedures and pharmacology; Management of medical gasses; supply management. Experience in medical simulation; Two or more years direct patient care.
