    DESCRIPTION

    The Retail Analyst primary responsibility of this position is to provide analysis and supporting recommendations for the Retail Analytics team, supporting internal retail-driven initiatives and external client reporting and initiatives.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Provide full analytic support to support headquarter sales team

    + Collect data and conduct analysis to evaluate effectiveness and make recommendations to optimize promotional events, sales initiatives, new item launch, etc.

    + Track the success/failure of new items and promotional efforts and make recommendations for future improvement

    + Develop, implement and track key product indicators (KPI) to measure business success across a wide range of client products and retailers

    + Create ad-hoc reports designed to help better interpret business results; draw conclusions based on analysis and interpretation of sales data.

    + Review historical sales trends, point-of-sale data, syndicated data, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop models, and evaluate forecast results

    + Create and present business reviews

    + Establish & deliver accurate and timely Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting to the Sales organization

    + Hybrid work schedule

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + Experience working with and utilizing IRI and Nielsen data, Spectra a plus

    + Consumer Packed Goods (CPG) industry experience

    + Strong analytical aptitude

    + Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables)

    + Strong PowerPoint presentation skills

    + Self-starter with demonstrated drive and initiative

    + Excellent verbal, writing and interpersonal skills

    + Attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently

    + PowerBI knowledge is a positive

    Qualifications:

    + BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics

    + 1-3 years of business and analytics experience
