Key responsibilities
+ **Install, maintain, and repair:** Install new machinery and perform routine inspections to ensure all equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.
+ **Troubleshoot and diagnose:** Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify the source of mechanical or electrical problems.
+ **Perform repairs:** Disassemble machinery, repair or replace defective parts, and test the equipment to confirm the repair was successful.
+ **Implement preventative maintenance:** Lubricate, clean, and calibrate equipment to prevent future breakdowns and extend its lifespan.
+ **Ensure safety and compliance:** Adhere to all company safety procedures and regulations, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
+ **Document work:** Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
You Must Have
+ 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process improvement.
+ Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
+ Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools to optimize production.
+ Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
+ Basic computer skills for documentation and logging, sometimes including specific software like CMMS.
+ **Work with Various Systems:** Maintain and troubleshoot a variety of systems, including mechanical, electrical (up to 480V, three-phase motors), hydraulic, and pneumatic applications.
+ **Fabricate Parts:** Use machine shop instrumentation and equipment (e.g., lathes, grinders, welding equipment) to fabricate minor repair parts when necessary.
