Community Life Assistant (Activities Aide)

Full Time Days & Some Evenings + Every Other Weekend

$15.80-17.55/hour

UMC is currently seeking a Community Life Assistant/Activities Aide for our Pitman Manor Community.

Pitman Manor , a UMC Community in Gloucester County, our senior community in Pitman New Jersey, is truly integrated into the life of the town. We are part of a beautiful residential neighborhood, near to highways and public transportation with easy access to both Philadelphia as well as the Jersey Shore.

Requirements for a Community Life Assistant:

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ 1 or more year of relevant work experience

Responsibilities for a Community Life Assistant:

+ Participates in the scheduling of activities and programs within the community, communicates those with residents, encourages participation and participates in assigned programming.

+ Conducts assigned programs including 1 to 1 visit.

+ Assists with field trips and outings.

+ Transports residents to and from planned activities within or external to community.

+ Maintains resident's attendance. Assists with documentation- daily attendance records and 1 to 1 record.

+ Meets with outside local community groups to plan joint projects which benefit community residents as instructed.

+ Assures supplies are available for various activities/programs.

+ Gives input to residents care planning- assessments, care plan goals and approaches and progress notes.
