Responsibilities
BRIGHTSTAR is seeking a Field Services Technician.The Field Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and servicing BRIGHTSTAR equipment at Retailer (customer) locations. Responding to dispatches and drives to customer locations normally within a specified "zone" to deliver supplies and to install, remove, or repair lottery equipment and communication devices.

Responsibilities
+ Responsible for transporting, installing (if applicable), and maintaining BRIGHTSTAR equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.
+ Attend driver training and follow BRIGHTSTAR vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of the company vehicle.
+ Maintain equipment to promote continuous operation of BRIGHTSTAR equipment.
+ Troubleshoot to restore malfunctioning equipment to working order in the field. This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning and/or minor adjusting of the malfunctioning component and tracking of such items.
+ Communicate effectively and efficiently with Dispatchers. Accurately report activity, arrival and departure times and problems, details, and resolutions of failures to Dispatch.
+ Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts such as paper, bet slips, etc. and track inventory of these items.
+ Deliver basic training to new Retailers or refresher/remedial training to Retailers who may be performing procedures incorrectly, such as changing paper.
+ Complete basic forms for reporting activities, equipment problems, recommendations for improvements to procedures, etc.

Education Required
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ Technical or I.T. related training or education is a plus.
Experience Required
+ 2+ years of electronics, repair, field, or related industry experience.
Skills Required
+ Must be computer literate and have documented technical experience.
+ Knowledge and understanding of AC/DC fundamentals.
+ Knowledge of basic tools and experience using the tools is required.
+ Ability, flexibility, and willingness to work varied shifts, overtime, and travel to client sites as needed.
+ Must be able to lift 50 pounds and able to stand a full shift.
+ Ability to follow policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
+ Must be able to adapt to various jurisdictions and interface with compliance officers.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $17.45/hr – $23.27/hr. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower. The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Non-exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
