**Schedule:** PRN
Shift: Vary 1-2 afternoons per week, plus provide coverage
**The role you'll contribute:** Responsible for using ultrasound technology to locate, evaluate, and record anatomical, pathological, and functional data. This position aids physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries. This role ensures the highest standard of patient care during all procedures. This position involves maintaining and operating ultrasound equipment efficiently. Additionally, this role requires accurate documentation and communication of findings to the medical team
The value you'll bring to the team
Monitors and manages daily workflow, including patient communication, transportation, and discharge.
Follows infection control standards and handles pharmaceutical waste according to training. Participates in data collection and performance improvement projects.
Performs quality assurance on imaging equipment and report any issues promptly.
Other duties as assigned.
Performs ultrasound imaging exams on patients of all age groups, ensuring high-quality results.
Operates specific imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
Educates and trains new technologists and students on imaging procedures and equipment use.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
High School Grad or Equiv Required
1 Work Experience Required
Technical/Vocational School satisfactory completion of approved medical sonography program [Required]
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Preferred
