PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Structural Design Engineer** to join our partner, a global leader in aerospace innovation. In this exciting role, you’ll apply your expertise in materials, engineering principles, and design tools to develop and refine flight vehicle structures that push the limits of performance and reliability.
Your work will directly impact the safety, efficiency, and success of advanced aircraft programs—making you a vital part of shaping the next generation of aerospace technology.
What You’ll Do
+ Develop, integrate, document, and evaluate **flight vehicle structural designs** for performance, manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards.
+ Apply advanced **engineering and physical science principles** to ensure functional adequacy and regulatory compliance.
+ Design **primary and secondary structures** , payload systems, and lofting configurations.
+ Collaborate across engineering disciplines to support **aero structures** , **product development** , and **new design initiatives** .
+ Use modern design and modeling tools to ensure precision and efficiency in every phase of development.
+ Support continuous improvement of design methods and ensure documentation accuracy throughout the process.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in **Engineering or a related field** (required).
+ Strong proficiency in **metallic design** with proven experience in **CATIA** and **ENOVIA** .
+ Hands-on experience with **fuselage or structural design projects** .
+ Demonstrated ability to work on **aerospace product development** and **new aircraft design** .
+ Strong technical judgment and a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with **aerostructures** or large-scale aerospace systems.
+ Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to thrive in a **collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment** .

**Pay Details:** $50.00 per hour
