    Job Overview

     

    Express Employment Professionals is seeking a **Welder/Fabricator** for a locally owned company in **Holy Cross, IA** . This isn’t your typical “sit-at-the-welding-table-all-day” job — every day brings something new! You’ll use your hands-on skills to weld, fabricate, and help finish commercial doors and frames that will eventually be installed in buildings across the region.

    What You’ll Do:

    + MIG weld and finish metal components for commercial doors and frames

    + Modify both wood and metal doors and prep/fabricate custom pieces

    + Load and deliver doors, frames, and hardware to customers within a 100-mile radius

    + Assist in the shop with inventory, order preparation, and general maintenance

    + Eventually help prepare delivery tickets and organize shop materials

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Valid driver’s license (CDL _not_ required)

    + Ability to lift 50–100 lbs.

    + General shop tool knowledge (grinders, jigsaws, sanders, power saws, etc.)

    + Basic computer knowledge

    + Excellent customer service and communication skills

    + Reliable, safety-minded, and willing to take on a variety of tasks

    Schedule & Pay:

    + Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

    + Pay is **based on experience** — typically **$20–$30/hour**
