    Engagement Specialist - Teller

    Brief Summary

    We-re looking for a friendly, service-driven professional to join our Bluestone team as anEngagement Specialist (Teller). In this member-facing role, you-ll be the first point of contact-welcoming members, processing financial transactions, and assisting with account openings. You-ll also play a key role in guiding members through their financial journey by identifying needs and offering tailored solutions from our full range of credit union products and services.

     

    Using a consultative, needs-based approach, you-ll listen actively, ask thoughtful questions, and educate members on how our offerings can support their goals-whether it-s saving for the future, managing daily finances, or accessing credit. Your ability to build trust and create meaningful connections will help ensure every interaction is personalized, efficient, and impactful.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide a high level of service to all credit union members.

    + Identify members- financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services.

    + Execute accurate financial transactions.

    + Perform day-to-day, in-branch, operational duties.

    + Cash handling.

    + Leverage MCCU resources to remain current with credit union policies, procedures, products and services.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Minimum of two years of experience in a customer-focused role.

    + Cash handling experience.

    + Intermediate to advanced user level experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook.

    + The ability to effectively and professionally communicate, both verbally and in writing, to individuals with varying degrees of financial knowledge.

    + Comfortable with continuous interactions with the public throughout the workday.

    + Experience in, and comfortable with, deescalating issues with upset members.

     

    Schedule

     

    + Schedule will vary, Monday - Friday 8:15 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.

     

    Wage & Hour Details

     

    + Full-time, 37-40 hours per week

    + Pay is hourly

    + Starting pay range: $18-$19/hr., pay commensurate with experience
