Description:
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer for the Ocala Operations team\. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑mix, high‑volume circuit card, wiring harness, and electro‑assembly production across multi‑shift facilities\.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for driving process stability, improving productivity, and ensuring product quality in a dynamic manufacturing environment\.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for circuit card and wiring harness production\.
+ Lead root‑cause investigations and develop corrective actions to reduce defects and rework\.
+ Collaborate with operations and quality teams to achieve on‑time delivery and compliance with specifications\.
+ Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or automation enhancements where appropriate\.
+ Document and standardize work instructions, process parameters, and best‑practice guidelines\.

MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\.
Basic Qualifications:
\- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering,
Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or
related discipline from an accredited college
\- Or, no experience required with a Master’s
degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace
Engineering or related discipline from an
accredited college\.
Desired Skills:
\- CCA manufacturing experience in accordance
with specification IPC\-A\-610
\- Cable and Harness manufacturing experience
in accordance with IPC/WHMA\-A\-620
\- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and
engineering drawings\.
\- Ability to work with supply base\.
\- Detail oriented personality
\- Excellent process development and
documentation skills\. \(MS Office\)
\- Experienced with visual based work instructions
\(creating and providing feedback\)
\- Ability to use CAD software \(Creo and AutoCAD
preferred\)
\- Leadership experience\.
\- Experience in a Manufacturing environment

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
