Part-Time Position 20hrs in a week
Must have an NJ Psychology license.
Job Descriptions:
+ Describe the primary (most important) purpose of the job in no more than a paragraph to provide a solid overview of the essence of the job in seven sentences or less.
+ Psychologist Advisor’s primary responsibility is to conduct Developmental Disability eligibility reviews and determine eligibility for youth up to age 18.
+ Psychologist Advisor also assists with clinical reviews of complex cases, quality of care concerns, and offers guidance that adheres to best practice standards.
+ The position will participate in clinical activities associated with children’s system of care program initiatives.
+ These activities involve quality monitoring, data analysis, and special projects from time to time.
+ Additional responsibilities include making utilization determinations, addressing quality concerns through peer-to-peer consultations, providing ongoing training of the Developmental Disability eligibility process, contact with parents/caregivers when needed for coordination of care and contact with other child serving systems as part of collaboration and education efforts
Experience:
+ Five-to-ten-year Clinical experience in intellectual/developmental disabilities.
+ Psychological (Cognitive/IQ) Evaluation
+ Must have an NJ Psychology license,
+ Educational (Achievement/Learning) Evaluation
+ Speech-Language (S/L) Evaluation
+ Occupational/Physical Therapy (OT/PT) Evaluation
+ Adaptive Behavior Evaluation
+ Early Intervention (EI) Evaluation
+ Academic Tests
Education:
+ Ph. D. Psychologist level with unrestricted license to practice psychology
