Our client, a leading organization in the technology and operational excellence sector, is seeking a Service Engineer - Azure Data Explorer to join their team. As a Service Engineer - Azure Data Explorer, you will be part of the Operations Support team supporting live site ecosystem management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title:** **Service Engineer - Azure Data Explorer

**Location:** Redmond, WA (Remote role; candidates must be located in PST, MST, or CST time zones)

Pay Range: $52.15 - $57.39 on Experis W2 (Benefits and PTO)

Hard Skills:

1. Azure Data Explorer, and Power BI

2. Windows Systems Engineering skills, Networking, Storage, etc.

3. Software Engineering fundamentals.

What's the Job?

+ Manage and monitor the health of live site systems to ensure operational excellence and reliability.

+ Lead incident review meetings, executive briefings, and service reviews to assess service health and incident trends.

+ Coordinate and facilitate post-mortem reviews and problem management activities to identify systemic issues and drive continuous improvement.

+ Design and maintain dashboards that visualize problem management metrics, incident hygiene, and service health KPIs.

+ Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high-quality incident records and effective knowledge sharing across shifts.

What's Needed?

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Service Engineering, SRE, or incident management roles, with a solid background in Windows Systems Engineering and Administration.

+ Strong understanding of telemetry, operational intelligence, and incident lifecycle management.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

+ Proficiency in creating dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Azure Data Explorer, or similar.

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills, with experience leading service review meetings in front of executives and senior managers.
