Regeneron is currently looking for an Associate Project Specialist to join our Process Sciences team. Regeneron successfully manufactures a range of biopharmaceuticals for patients worldwide, including our approved therapeutic proteins and those involved in clinical studies. Our Associate Project Specialist contributes to and may lead projects and monitors department operations. Develops a company-wide network and leverages relationships to enable department objectives. Projects may vary widely but are generally focused on technical activities and department operations.
As an Associate Project Specialist- Process Sciences, a typical day might include the following:
+ Contributes in projects with, and possibly leads, a cross functional team to achieve deliverables on time.
+ Drives projects to completion on time and within regulatory guidelines.
+ Develops and maintains a technical understanding of all departmental operations.
+ Forms relationships, via strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with Process Sciences management and team members, and the leadership and team members of other departments across all of Regeneron, its partners and its suppliers.
+ Leverages relationships to involve the correct subject matter experts (SMEs) and achieve tasks together as needed.
+ Assists in developing tools and monitoring department operations (e.g., training, budgets), communicates clearly about department status and proactively works to anticipate and prevent problems.
+ Provides administrative, organizational and mediation services for high-priority or emergency events as they arise; schedules meetings, takes meeting notes, communicates findings/action items/plans and ensures that actions are performed.
+ Acts as a first point-of-contact for department members at all levels who encounter difficult-to-solve problems and works to prevent or minimize conflict.
+ Acts as an impartial liaison between Process Sciences and other departments or groups and fields complaints, concerns and requests from external groups and determines how to best respond.
+ Responsible for maintaining open lines of communication and a positive working relationship with other departments.
+ Travels to other Regeneron locations and to supplier or partner sites as needed.
+ While on site, collects or disseminates information as needed and builds personal relationships.
+ Manages and performs basic administrative tasks for department-wide activities (e.g., schedule department meetings, manage department budgets).
+ Identifies opportunities for streamlining activities and improves performance within the broader business.
+ Works with other functions to identify and realize synergies between the systems and requirements to assure efficient implementation.
+ Other duties as assigned by manager.

To be considered for the Associate Project Specialist you must be willing and able to work Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. You must have a BA/BS in science, engineering or related field and 0-2 years of related experience. Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology industries strongly preferred. Experience in business development, management consulting, strategic consulting or project management is preferred.
