**Position:** Shelf Life Technician
**Pay Rate:** $22/HR
**Location:** Goodyear, 85338
**Schedule:** Monday-Friday
Summary
The FSQ Shelf Life Technician supports the Factor_ shelf-life and food safety program by coordinating product sampling, performing basic analytical tests, and managing related data and documentation. This role ensures product quality and compliance through accurate testing, organization, and effective communication with internal teams and external laboratories.
Key Responsibilities
+ Review production schedules to determine daily sampling needs and timing
+ Collect, pack, label, and prepare samples and documentation for laboratory pickup
+ Conduct routine analytical testing, including pH, water activity, and reheat time verification
+ Maintain Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and ensure accurate logging and organization of test data
+ Coordinate with internal teams and external lab partners to ensure timely sample processing
+ Use strong project management and communication skills to support shelf-life evaluation workflow
+ Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Education & Experience
+ Associate degree
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in quality assurance or a laboratory environment
+ Bilingual Preferred
Skills & Competencies
+ Strong organization and data management skills
+ Analytical and problem-solving abilities
+ Knowledge of food handling and basic food safety principles
+ Computer literacy for data entry and documentation
+ Strong communication skills with professionalism, tact, and diplomacy
+ Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
+ Manufacturing facility with exposure to cold environments (10º–40ºF)
+ High-noise areas at times
Physical Requirements
+ Standing, walking, and reaching for 8–10 hours
+ Ability to lift, handle, and move materials and tools
+ Frequent use of hands for sampling and data entry
+ Ability to communicate clearly in person and by phone
Schedule
+ Full-time, on-site
+ Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
**Pay Details:** $22.00 per hour
