    Position Summary

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated **Industrial Maintenance Technician** to support the reliability and performance of a large-scale manufacturing facility. This position plays a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production equipment, utilities, and building systems to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient operations.

     

    Technicians will work on a wide range of equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving ability, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to craftsmanship and workplace safety.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Receive and complete maintenance assignments—verbal, written, or computer-generated—based on production priorities and maintenance schedules.

    + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems across a range of manufacturing equipment such as press brakes, cranes, coil winders, ovens, welders, and other production machinery.

    + Perform preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and system upgrades to ensure equipment reliability.

    + Set up and operate common machine shop tools (lathes, grinders, mills, etc.) to fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical components.

    + Execute electrical and mechanical repairs independently, including retrofitting components to improve reliability or functionality.

    + Use precision measuring tools to make accurate adjustments and alignments.

    + Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required for maintenance and repair projects.

    + Handle rigging, loading, unloading, and installation of heavy industrial equipment safely.

    + Follow proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safety procedures at all times.

    + Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and organized condition; ensure safe handling of oils, chemicals, and other materials.

    + Use digital tools for email communication, work order tracking, and data entry.

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives and share technical knowledge with peers.

    Skills & Qualifications

    + **Education:**

    + Technical diploma in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + **Experience:**

    + Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, equipment repair, or related field.

    + Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a manufacturing setting.

    + **Technical Skills:**

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems.

    + Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.

    + Skilled in fabrication, welding, and machine shop operations.

    + Experience using test instruments such as multimeters.

    + Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and work order documentation.

    + **Physical Requirements:**

    + Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing medium to heavy physical work.
