    Position Overview

    We’re seeking a skilled **CNC Machinist** to join a precision manufacturing team specializing in high-quality metal components. In this hands-on role, you’ll use advanced CNC equipment and measuring tools to produce precision parts that meet exacting specifications. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented problem solvers with a passion for craftsmanship, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Operate and set up CNC mills, lathes, and related equipment to meet production goals and quality standards.

    + Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineered drawings to determine machining requirements.

    + Inspect and measure parts throughout the manufacturing process to ensure dimensional accuracy and material compliance.

    + Conduct final inspections and prepare components for packaging and shipment.

    + Complete quality inspection documentation for each work order.

    + Collaborate with internal teams and customers to clarify requirements and review project details.

    + Support the preparation of customer quotes (RFQs) and progress updates (WIP).

    + Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives and maintain a safe, organized work area.

     

    Tools & Equipment Used

     

    Haas CNC mills, precision measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauge blocks), Faro Arm, and general shop tools.

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements

    + Primarily shop-based role.

    + Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.

    + Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.

    + Shop uniform or protective attire required.

    Qualifications

    Education & Training

    + High school diploma or GED required.

    + Certificate or associate degree in Machine Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.

    + Valid driver’s license required.

    Experience

    + Minimum of **5 years of CNC programming and operation** experience.

    + Experience machining metals such as steel, stainless steel, bronze, or cast materials.

    + Familiarity with **Mazak CNC systems** preferred.

    + At least **5 years of experience using precision measuring tools** in a manufacturing or similar environment.

    + Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

    Skills & Abilities

    + Proficient in reading and writing CNC programs (G-Code and M-Code).

    + Skilled in Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD/CAM software.

    + Strong knowledge of geometry, tolerances, and dimensional conversions.

    + Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

    + Demonstrated commitment to quality and safety standards.
