Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Orlando, Florida. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with expertise in full-cycle accounting and a strong ability to analyze financial data across multiple departments or locations. The position requires exceptional communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in reporting and reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle accounting tasks, including journal entries and general ledger management.

• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Collaborate on month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

• Conduct account reconciliations and bank reconciliations with precision.

• Generate and analyze monthly financial reports to support decision-making.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and interpret financial data.

• Ensure financial integrity across multiple sites or departments.

• Apply critical thinking to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

• Work closely with stakeholders to provide clear and effective communication regarding financial matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

• Ideal experience will have direct experience supporting F& B (Food & Beverage)

• Proficiency in full-cycle accounting processes, including journal entries and general ledger management.

• Strong skills in account and bank reconciliations.

• Advanced knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Experience in hospitality or managing finances across multiple sites is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to think critically and solve complex financial issues.

• Familiarity with larger organizational systems is preferred.
