Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team in Cornelius, North Carolina. This long-term contract role involves managing and optimizing accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate cash flow and efficient billing operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and fostering positive relationships with commercial clients. Project based invoicing or construction experience a must.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

• Oversee commercial collections to ensure timely payments and resolve outstanding issues.

• Apply cash receipts to customer accounts while maintaining precise records.

• Handle billing functions, ensuring invoices are issued correctly and in a timely manner.

• Monitor cash activity and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline invoice processing and address payment concerns.

• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable performance and outstanding balances.

• Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment issues and maintain strong relationships.

• Support audits and compliance checks related to financial operations.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable management, including commercial collections.

• Proficiency in handling cash applications and billing processes.

• Strong understanding of invoice processing and cash activity reconciliation.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.

• High attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Familiarity with financial reporting and audit preparation.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
