Description

Robert Half is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst for an exciting opportunity with a dynamic and growing company in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial analysis, solid experience in CPG environments, and advanced proficiency with Oracle Finance systems. This role will provide strategic decision-making support, detailed financial reporting, and actionable insights to enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, specifically tailored to the CPG industry.

+ Leverage Oracle ERP systems for financial data extraction, reporting, and reconciliation.

+ Create detailed financial models to evaluate products, pricing strategies, and promotional programs.

+ Analyze operational metrics, supply chain costs, sales trends, and market data to inform strategic decisions.

+ Develop reports and dashboards that clearly illustrate key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial results.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment on financial goals.

+ Recommend process improvements to optimize financial reporting and Oracle utilization.

+ Stay current with CPG industry trends and provide insights on risks and opportunities.

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

+ 3+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably within the CPG industry.

+ Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle Financials or ERP systems.

+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and financial modeling.

+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
