Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient financial operations by managing invoice processing, coding, and payment workflows. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts payable systems and tools, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices, ensuring proper coding and compliance with company policies.

• Perform 3-way matching to accurately reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.

• Manage payments through Automated Clearing House (ACH) and other methods, including check runs.

• Utilize accounts payable systems such as Coupa, Concur, and QuickBooks to maintain financial records.

• Ensure accurate account coding and timely invoice approvals.

• Handle expense reports and reimbursements using Concur Expense.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and inquiries.

• Maintain organized records for audits and financial reporting.

• Support month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts payable transactions.

• Monitor and improve AP processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or related financial roles.

• Proficiency in systems such as Coupa, Concur, QuickBooks, or similar tools.

• Knowledge of 3-way matching and invoice coding processes.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and check runs.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent communication skills for vendor and team interactions.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial tasks.
