Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, particularly within the nonprofit sector. Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis and forecasting, to support organizational goals.

• Develop and maintain financial models to enhance decision-making and strategic planning.

• Manage and track government grants, ensuring compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.

• Support audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and collaborating with auditors.

• Assist in creating and monitoring budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.

• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business needs and challenges.

• Utilize data mining techniques to extract valuable insights for financial reporting and decision-making.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and recommendations.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.

• Present financial findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and actionable manner.

Requirements • At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Financial Analyst or Senior Accountant.

• 2-3 years of experience working with government grants.

• Proven expertise in nonprofit financial management.

• Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Experience supporting audit processes and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis techniques.

• Ability to perform ad hoc financial analyses and extract insights from complex datasets.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey financial information effectively.
