• Dental Lab Waxer/Finisher Technician

    JOB PURPOSE:

    Responsible for waxing and finishing prosthetics for patients in need.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    + Denture processing

    + Wax-up

    + Festooning

    + Carving of teeth

    + Rough and fine finishing

    + Repairs and relines

    + Various lab duties

    Educational Requirements:

    + High School Diploma

    GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    + Confident and comfortable working with your hands

    + Same-day denture experience preferred

    + Good hand-eye coordination

    + Mechanical ability and/or artistic ability

    + Comfortable working in a team environment

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping a strong attention to detail

    + Highly organized

    + Understanding of OSHA protocol and be willing to cross-train in all areas of the lab

    + Experience as a denture lab technician completing waxing and processing duties preferred

    + 1 year of experience trimming and pouring denture models required
