    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Controller to join our team, specializing in a variety of high-end roofing services and general contracting. You will play a pivotal role in executing and managing financial systems daily, thus bridging a critical gap for our growth and operational efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage and execute financial controls and operating systems on a daily basis.

    + Oversee all aspects of accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger management.

    + Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.

    + Drive financial reporting and refine accounting processes.

    + Ensure accurate and timely month-end reconciliations.

    + Integrate and consolidate multiple financial data points, eliminating duplication.

    + Collaborate with the team to support marketing efforts and operational expansion.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of hands-on controller/accounting experience in commercial, construction, or manufacturing environments.

    + Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.

    + Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in construction or manufacturing sectors is advantageous.

    + Understanding of systems architecture.

    + Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    + Self-starter with the ability to integrate well with the existing team.

    Work Environment

    The role is primarily onsite, working from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with the potential for one remote day per week. The company has a rich 71-year history and operates mainly through referrals, offering a collaborative work environment that values practical skills and personality fit.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester Hills, MI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

     

    Working on getting benefits and other bonus possibilities.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Rochester Hills,MI.
