Senior Business Analyst – Agile SAP Integration

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale Agile program involving multiple Scrum squads. This role focuses on enhancing a custom Java application and integrating it with SAP systems. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and skilled facilitator who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments.

Key Responsibilities

+ Drive collaboration across multiple Scrum teams operating in different time zones.

+ Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements as Agile user stories and Functional Specifications (FSPECS).

+ Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, and QA to ensure backlog readiness and effective sprint planning.

+ Develop and maintain Functional Unit Test (FUT) cases to validate requirements.

+ Mentor junior Business Analysts and promote best practices in Agile analysis.

+ Manage internal dependencies and resolve cross-squad blockers.

+ Coordinate with external vendors on deliverables and integration points.

+ Support UAT planning, execution, and defect triage.

+ Contribute to Agile maturity and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Qualifications

+ 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments.

+ Proven success managing cross-team dependencies across multiple Scrum squads.

+ Strong experience with Agile user stories, acceptance criteria, and FSPECS for SAP integrations.

+ Hands-on experience with FUT test cases and QA/UAT support.

+ Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

+ Experience mentoring BAs and standardizing documentation practices.

+ Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and test management platforms.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Preferred Skills

+ Experience in large enterprise programs with vendor-managed components.

+ Agile certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe).

+ Ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures.

+ Wireframe design experience is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Dublin, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
