The Maintenance Tech position plays an integral role in keeping our production and warehouse equipment running by responding to line calls and performing monthly PMs. Maintenance Techs work on a wide variety of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs on all machinery, equipment and systems in the Plant. This includes adjustments, calibrations, troubleshooting, installations, monitoring and other duties required to minimize machinery and equipment downtime without compromising workmanship and quality.
* Troubleshoot and perform mechanical repairs involving hydraulic, steam and pneumatic plant production equipment, buildings, building systems, grounds, and material handling equipment.
* Perform preventive maintenance inspection tasks on plant equipment.
* Ability to install, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems ranging from 12VDC to 480VAC.
* Must be able to read and interpret blueprints/schematic diagrams and distinguish colors.
* Perform basic welding and machining.
* Troubleshoot, install, program, and tune motor drives utilizing OEM manual and operator interface. Contact OEM technical support as needed during troubleshooting.
Requirements:
* A degree in Maintenance or several years of experience working as an Industrial Maintenance Tech, preferably in a production setting.
* Ability to work in a hot environment for up to 10 hours per day and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
* Ability to operate a forklift
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams, and distinguish colors
