_Exciting 2-year development opportunity to work for a global leader dedicated to helping people see brilliantly. The largest device company in the world – with complementary businesses in Surgical and Vision Care - is hiring a Laboratory Technician to join their team!_

**Schedule:** M-F 8a-5p with some flexibility

**Location:** Duluth, GA

**Pay** : $21-$23/hr

Job Duties:

+ Works following laboratory and chemical safety guidelines and escalates safety-related issues.

+ Proactiveness in staying productive and takes initiative in looking for ways to contribute between tasks or studies.

+ Communicates to the team immediately when process or quality issues are encountered.

+ Asks questions to understand the manufacturing process and takes feedback on potential improvements from the team.

+ Performs record keeping duties in conformance Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to meet quality and accuracy requirements.

Requirements:

+ Bachelors of Science Degree Preferred in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or other life sciences

+ 1-2 years of professional laboratory experience

+ Previous experience working within GMP manufacturing (Biotechnology, Medical device, or Pharmaceuticals)
