    Position Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as a key member of the executive leadership team at Scotland Health Care System, responsible for the strategic oversight and management of all financial operations. This role ensures the financial integrity and sustainability of the organization, supporting its mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. This is an on-site opportunity for employment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Strategic Financial Leadership

    + Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization’s goals.

    + Advise the CEO and Board of Trustees on financial planning, budgeting, and investment decisions.

    + Lead long-term financial forecasting and capital planning.

    + Financial Operations

    + Oversee accounting, budgeting, revenue cycle, payroll, and financial reporting functions.

    + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid and IRS requirements.

    + Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.

    + Performance & Risk Management

    + Monitor financial performance and key metrics to ensure operational efficiency.

    + Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

    + Lead cost containment initiatives and financial improvement programs.

    + Team Leadership

    + Direct and mentor finance department staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

     

    Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to align financial goals with patient care priorities.
