Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS Machine Learning and Kubernetes with a preference for those with experience in Life science This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a day shift with no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable solutions using AWS Machine Learning to enhance our data processing capabilities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Kubernetes for efficient deployment and management of applications.

• Analyze complex datasets to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.

• Develop and maintain architecture documentation to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve system performance and reliability.

• Ensure the security and compliance of cloud-based solutions to protect sensitive data.

• Optimize existing systems to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster professional growth.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Lead the development of proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the feasibility of new technologies.

• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance user experience.

• Stay updated with industry trends to ensure our solutions remain competitive.

Qualifications

• Possess strong expertise in AWS Machine Learning and Kubernetes essential for the role.

• Demonstrate experience in Cheminformatics and Bioinformatics which is highly desirable.

• Have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable solutions in a cloud environment.

• Show proficiency in analyzing complex datasets and providing actionable insights.

• Display strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The hourly salary for this position is between $[115,500 - 135,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
