Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language PathologyAssistant (SLPA) to join our team and support students across Texasschools. This is a full-time opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helpingstudents overcome communication challenges and succeed academically.
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
+ Implement individualized therapy plans and assist with IEP execution
+ Conduct screenings and document student progress
+ Support students with communication needs in academic settings
+ Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to reinforce speech and language goals
+ Assist with AAC systems and other communication tools
Qualifications
+ Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
+ Licensure: Valid SLPA license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
+ Preferred:
+ Experience in school settings
+ Familiarity with AAC systems
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
General Comments
+ Tier 3 Client: We do not currently have an active contract with this district. Filling this position could open new opportunities for future collaboration.
+ Start Date: Because this is a Tier 3 client, the start date will likely be at least 3 weeks out.
