Job Title: 3rd-5th Grade Special Education Teacher

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 3rd-5th grade special education classroom. The ideal candidate will provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, fostering academic growth and social-emotional development in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Deliver individualized and small group instruction aligned with IEP goals.

+ Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success.

+ Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations.

+ Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.

+ Create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment.

Qualifications:

+ Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required.

+ Experience working with elementary students in a resource setting preferred.

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
