    Special Education Teacher | $48/hr or $1900/wk Travel | San Antonio, TX | Inclusion | Nov 2025–June 2026

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support an inclusion classroom in San Antonio, TX. This in-person role begins November 9, 2025, and runs for 36 weeks through the end of the school year. The teacher will work with K–12 students, collaborating with general education staff to deliver individualized instruction and support.

    Position Overview

    + Location: San Antonio, TX

    + Setting: Inclusion classroom, K–12

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37 hours/week

    + Start Date: November 9, 2025

    + Duration: 36 weeks

    + Compensation: $48/hr or $1900/week (travel pay option)

    + Openings: 1

    Responsibilities

    + Provide specialized instruction and support in an inclusion setting

    + Collaborate with general education teachers and multidisciplinary teams

    + Participate in IEP development and implementation

    + Offer tutorial assistance and consultative support

    + Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations

    Minimum Requirements

    + Valid Texas teaching certificate required

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred

    + Endorsement in Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

    + Experience in a teaching environment preferred

    + CPR certification, TB/PPD clearance, and health certificate as applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
