Amergis Educational Staffing is currently seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a school in Suffolk County! Position Details:
+ Location: Suffolk County, MA
+ Start Date: Immediate
+ Duration: 2025–2026 School Year
+ Schedule: 4 - 5 days per week (6.5 hours/day)
+ Start time may be flexible based on candidate needs
+ Pay Rate: Up to $60/hour (based on experience and licensure)
Role Overview:
A few schools within the Suffolk County area are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students in an elementary school setting. The OT will work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to help students develop the skills necessary for academic success and daily functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide direct occupational therapy services to students based on IEP goals
+ Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
+ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
+ Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to integrate therapy into the classroom environment
+ Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
+ Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
+ Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and functional independence
Additional Information:
+ Safety Care Training is now a required credential for this role. If not already certified, BPS will provide and compensate for the training.

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible forperforming student evaluations, developing and providing therapy services, anddocumenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for eachstudent.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the Stateof practice
+ One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapyexperience preferred
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
