    Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) – 2025–2026 School Year

     

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to support a bilingual special education population for the upcoming school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a flexible work arrangement.

    Position Details:

    + Contract Length: August 2025 – May 2026

    + Schedule: 37.5–40 hours/week during school hours

    + Location: Huntsville, TX area

    + Modality: Hybrid (Evaluations and ARD meetings must be conducted in person; other responsibilities may be completed remotely)

    + Interview Format: In-person

    Responsibilities:

    + Conduct comprehensive evaluations for bilingual special education students (caseload of approximately 170)

    + Participate in ARD meetings

    + Provide consultation and direct services as needed

    + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success

    Requirements:

    + Active Texas LSSP license

    + Certification by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (TBHEC)

    + Demonstrated experience in assessments, consultations, and direct services
