    Special Education Teacher (LBS1) | $50/hr | Full-Time | Melrose Park, Maywood, Broadview, IL | ASAP–EOY

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring five full-time Special Education Teachers (LBS1) for immediate openings across multiple school sites in Melrose Park, Maywood, and Broadview, IL. These in-person roles run through the end of the 2025–2026 school year and offer a competitive hourly rate of $50/hr.

    Position Overview:

    + Location: Melrose Park, Maywood, Broadview, IL

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + Duration: Through end of school year (39 weeks)

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:40 PM (35 hrs/week)

    + Modality: Elementary SPED Teacher (LBS1)

    + Pay Rate: $50/hr

    + Interview: Virtual

    Caseloads:

    + Multiple openings across two classroom types:

    + Self-Contained

    + Resource

    + Classrooms serve K–12 students with diverse academic and behavioral needs

    + Each classroom includes paraprofessional support

    Requirements:

    + Valid IL teaching certificate with LBS1 endorsement (preferred)

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)

    + CPR, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
