Responsibilities You will develop and direct acquisition and execution strategies for All-Up-Round (AUR) production, ensuring alignment with mission requirements and stakeholder needs while performing long-range production planning. You will manage end-to-end All-Up-Round (AUR) production programs and supply chains to meet delivery requirements on schedule and within budget, providing oversight of contractor operations and managing program-level risks. You will lead Quality Assurance programs for missile body sections, implementing QA policies, evaluating contractor performance, and managing corrective action processes to ensure reliability and performance standards. You will formulate and execute production and quality assurance budgets, develop cost models, manage program funds, and provide budgetary analysis to leadership for strategic decision-making. You will direct stakeholder communications and provide contractual support for timely contract awards, serve as primary liaison to leadership and external partners, and support contract negotiations with technical expertise. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing production programs or manufacturing operations, including oversight of production processes, supply chain management, and quality assurance processes. Budget formulation and execution, including cost modeling, financial analysis, and resource allocation. Production planning and program management for technical systems or defense-related programs, including stakeholder coordination, risk management, and contract support activities. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This announcement uses the Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) Business & Technical Management direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-4 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
