    Description

    The Speech Therapist evaluates and treats residents; communicates with residents, families, physicians, and other health team members; maintains documentation of services in the EMR; and conducts in-services and training for facility staff on an ongoing basis, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and MVH policies and procedures.

    Requirements

    + Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program

    + Possesses a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy

    + Must have current State of Maine licensure as Speech Therapist

    + Experience in long-term care environment preferred
