Job Description
• Build the vision and strategy for the data development and analytics program.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of database analysts and software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Develop an engagement model to support each functional area of the technology and operations organization.
• Collaborate across all functional areas to translate business problems into optimal data modeling and analytical solutions that drive business value.
• Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex data sets to provide actionable insights.
• Develop and enhance PowerBI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators and business metrics.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across all reporting assets.

Skills and Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in data development, analysis, and reporting.
• 3+ years of experience in people management, with a proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop the skillset and productivity of a team through consistent direction and performance management.
• 8+ years of experience with data tools and software, specifically Snowflake for data warehousing and PowerBI for visualization.
• Proven experience in managing data development, analytics, and reporting to implement data solutions that meet strategic and tactical business needs.
• Deep knowledge of best practices across data-related disciplines and technologies, including data management, data governance, and data warehousing.
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, data analytics, or a related field and/or equivalent military experience. • Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
• Operational data analytics experience.
