    Responsibilities

    + Develop and execute comprehensive SEO/GEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and topical visibility in AI platforms for a fashion retail client for both evergreen and seasonal campaign initiatives.

    + Conduct a discovery audit of the client’s owned websites.

    + Develop and maintain a roadmap/prioritized plan that will define what projects key stakeholders on the client side need to implement to achieve their SEO/GEO goals and a plan for implementation that will be shared with key stakeholders.

    + Establish KPIs and a measurement plan focused on SEO performance and GEO inclusion.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including web developers, content teams and digital marketers to implement SEO best practices throughout owned platforms.

    + Lead a team of SEO specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to ensure the achievement of department goals.

    + Support the SVP of SEO on broader cross-functional goals as part of one cohesive media team.

    + Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-impact opportunities for optimization and content development.

    + Develop strategic thought leadership to advise the marketing team on how to integrate search insights and optimize all channels for search behavior.

    + Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

    + Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging SEO techniques, sharing knowledge and insights with the team to drive continuous innovation

    + Conduct ongoing SEO/GEO pulse checks and technical assessments of client websites, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact organic visibility.

    + Drive site architecture optimization for large product catalogs, including category hierarchy, faceted navigation and internal linking strategies.

    + Address technical challenges specific to fashion e-commerce such as seasonal changes, product variants, size/color/category matching and more.

    + Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, often visiting the client site, and serving as a trusted advisor and providing strategic recommendations to enhance their digital marketing effort

    Qualifications

    + Seattle based with the ability to be in person at both the Razorfish office and the client site.

    + 7-10 years of proven experience in SEO, with a focus on developing and implementing successful SEO/GEO strategies.

    + In-depth knowledge of SEO and GEO best practices; must be able to fully and proficiently articulate the fundamentals of SEO while also being forward thinking on how to test, learn and measure GEO impact.

    + Deep understanding how to implement SEO recommendations for complex e-commerce platforms.

    + Proficient in managing Schema markup at scale.

    + Deep understanding of Google Merchant Center and how to optimize for Product Grids. Must have basic understanding of emerging AI shopping feeds.

    + Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.

    + Proficiency in using SEO/GEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, BrightEdge, Profound, SEMrush, etc.

    + Experience leading and managing a team of SEO professionals

    + Experience working on cross-functional teams and collaborating with other leads such as social and paid search.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and build client relationships.

    + Up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the digital marketing industry.

    + Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable goals and delivering exceptional client satisfaction.

    + Retail/commerce experience highly preferred

    Compensation Range: $120,000-$180,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
